Company Overview
The building block of FADU as a membership organization is the FADU Community Society (FCS). The FCS which is the primary group of between 10 – 15 individuals of like mind, passion and similar enterprise living in the same community. Their main aim in forming the society in affiliation with FADU is to synergize to aid their access to resources needed for their enterprise development for improved livelihood. The Societies (5 – 10) in the same community come together to pool together their human and financial resources and become a stronger and larger body called FADU Community Association (FCA).
FADU, the apex union assists these self development Societies and their FCAs with training, technical support and other mentoring processes to become stable and viable democratic grassroots institutions capable of sustainable financial enterprise building and marketing services to their members.
FADU primarily works with rural, semi-urban and urban economically active poor, particularly women and girls, smallholder farmers and marginalized communities.

How we work
FADU takes a community-driven approach to development, working closely with local partners and community members to design and implement programs that are tailored to the needs of the target population. The organization emphasizes participatory processes and works to build the capacity of communities to take ownership of their development.
